DURIG, Kay age 67, of Centerville passed away on Monday, October 30, 2006 at Miami Valley Hospital. Kay was a graduate of Centerville High School and Otterbein College. She was a teacher for Centerville City Schools until her retirement in 1992. After retirement, Kay became a tour director for AAA Miami Valley for 20 years. She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Decker. Kay is survived by her father, Edward Decker; loving husband of 45 years, Merrill; daughters, Kathy (Mike) Sullivan and Kelly (Stacy) Johnston; granddaughter, Kelsey and soon to be grandson; sister, Joann (Jerry) Burand and other special family members. Special thanks to Dr. Reid and his staff at Miami Valley Hospital and caregiver, Alma Kern and her many friends that assisted her through her illness. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2006 at 10:00 AM at Centerville Cemetery with Rev. Harvey Smith officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Special Wish Foundation of Dayton, 436 Valley St., Dayton, OH 45404 or to the Children’s Medical Center, Attention Development, One Children’s Plaza, Dayton, OH 45404.
