Francis Anthony Kraman

KRAMAN, Francis, A., “Frank” age 74, of Kettering passed away Tuesday, February 24, 2004 at Kettering Medical Center. Frank was a longtime member of The Church of the Ascension in Kettering. He was a graduate of Campion High School in Prairie Du Chien, WI and received an Associate Degree from the University of Dayton. Frank retired after 34 years of service with NCR Systemedia as a systems analyst. He was a 4th Degree with the Knights of Columbus, in Los Angeles, CA and a veteran of the United States Marine Corp serving during the Korean War. Frank is preceded in death by his siblings: Dorothy, Loretta, Phillip and Carl. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Eleanor (Kearns) Kraman; 5 daughters, Mary (Michael) Haag of Cincinnati, Therese (Roger) Bracken of Sterling, VA, Donna (Michael) Bruns of Coldwater, OH, Carol (Joseph) Bysak of Kettering and Ann (Michael) Roberts of Cincinnati; son, Michael (Vickie) Kraman of Tustin, CA; 20 grandchildren, Amy, Christine, Melissa, Lindsey, Daniel, David, Morgan, Stephen, Kathleen, John, Mark, Matt, Ryan, Christopher, Michelle, Taylor, Ben, Luke, Nick and Jana; sisters, Sr. Carlan, OSF, Mary Ann, Ginger and Donna; brothers, Don, Paul and Tom; sister-in-law, Joan Lueke, and numerous nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian burial will be held Monday, at 10:00 AM at The Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Drive. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday afternoon from 4-7:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Church of the Ascension, 2025 Woodman Dr., Dayton, OH 45420 or Carroll High School, 4524 Linden Ave., Dayton, OH 45434.
