LONADIER, Frank D., age 77 of Washington Twp. passed away Friday, June 12, 2009 at Kettering Medical Center. Frank worked for 30 years at Monsanto Mound Laboratory in Miamisburg as a nuclear chemist where he developed scientific instruments for use in space exploration. He subsequently served as a chemistry professor for 15 years at Sinclair Community College. Frank had a special fondness for gardening and being outdoors. He was generous with his time, both to his family and to his profession. He was a trustee and past president of the Mound Museum Association, a volunteer judge for the National Science Fair, an active member of the American Chemical Society and past president of the Deming Society. Frank was preceded in death by his son, Alan Lonadier. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years, Janice (nee Goodwin); sons: Robert and James Lonadier; granddaughters: Emma, Elaine, and Keira; and several brothers and sisters. Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
