ULERY, Frank Gleason, age 77, of Kettering passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Miami Valley Hospital after a five-month illness with esophageal cancer. He was a graduate of Mt. Vernon High School in 1949 and received his BS from Ohio State in 1958. Frank served four years in the Navy and recently received a fifty year Mason service award from Mt. Zion Lodge #9. After a successful career in the computer industry, Frank retired in 1996. He enjoyed fishing, coin collecting, and picture framing. Frank used his woodworking skills to help his children beautify their own homes. This devoted husband and caring father instilled in his family a love of boating and blessed them with many wonderful vacations. Preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Jeanette Ulery. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Mary Jo; daughter, Di Murphy and husband Dave; son, David and wife Jennifer; son, Darrin; grandson, David Murphy and wife, Renee; granddaughters, Sarah and Leah Murphy; sister, JoAnn Ward; and nephews and niece, Scott, Sandy, and Shawn Ward of Montana; nephews Steve and Doug Bricker, sons of sister-in-law Louise and Robert Bricker of Florida.
