Fred Buckey

age 78, of Centerville, passed away on Friday, September 7, 2001 after a lengthy illness. Preceded in death by a brother, Don and his parents, Ray and Luella Buckey. Fred graduated from Ohio State University where he was a member of the accounting fraternity and was a veteran of WWII. He retired from Buckey Stamp and Coin Co., a family business of 45 years. Fred was a member of Normandy United Methodist Church and also Walnut Grove Country Club where he loved to play cards with his friends. He also loved spending time in Florida. Survived by his wife of 52 years, Karolyn; a son, Brad and Teresa of San Diego, CA; 2 daughters, Barbara Snyder and her husband, Mark of Atlanta, GA and Brenda Boyle and her husband, Tom of Dublin, OH; and 4 grandchildren, Brett and Blake Snyder and Brittany and Brooke Boyle. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 A.M., Wednesday in Normany United Methodist Church with Pastor Tom Harry officiating. The family will greet friends from 5-8:30 P.M., Tuesday in the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville.
