Going on "Civil War trips" with his friend, Dave, were special times. Fred was a member of the Pioneers and Beavercreek VFW. He excelled in carpentry; enjoyed gardening, reading and just being with family and friends. He was always there to visit a sick friend with support and a helping hand.
