Frederick Joseph Lenz

November 23, 1924 — July 6, 2001

age 76 of Oakwood, died Friday, July 6, 2001. He was a WWII Army veteran serving in the European Theater Group. Frederick was employed of Construction Management Company of Ohio, retiring in 1991. He was a member of Carpenters Local 104 and a life time member of the Shelby County Deer Association. Preceded in death by a son, Mark Frederick in 1955. Survived by his wife, Charlotte; a daughter, Janet (John) Parker of Dayton; 2 sons, Matt of Dayton and Fred (Gwen) of AZ; 5 grandchildren, Charles (Cindy) Parker, Mark (Anne) Parker, Kristen (Charles) Duff, Eric Lenz and Emily Lenz; 5 great grandchildren, Andrew, Rachael, Ryan, Dean and Lauren; a sister, Freda Lenz of Dayton; a brother, Henry (Bernice) Lenz of AZ; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, July 10, at Centerville Cemetery, Maple St., Centerville with Rev. Harvey Smith officiating. There will be no visitations at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, Inc., P.O. Box 3509, Dayton, Ohio 45401-3509 and Hithergreen Senior Center, 5900 Hithergreen Dr., Dayton, Ohio 45429.
