French Truman Mccoy

MCCOY, French T., age 84, of Centerville passed away Friday, May 12, 2017. French was born on January 27, 1933 in Marlinton, WV to Bruce and Anna McCoy. He received his associate degree from Youngstown University. French owned Dayton Metal Door for 25 years and a consultant with Southern Ohio Supply for 14 years. He was a member of Far Hills Lodge 784, Scottish Rite, Antioch Shrine, Fairmont Presbyterian Church, and The Door Hardware Inst. He always enjoyed a good round of golf with his friends. French was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert; sisters Mary Woodring & Naomi Layer. French is survived by his loving wife of 61 years JaNice (Carpenter) McCoy; daughters, Kelly McCoy, Terry (Tommy) Thompson; grandsons, Benjamin (Carrie) Ray, Tyler (Brittany) Kilburn; granddaughter, Tomi Thompson; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers, Enoch (Gay), Timothy (Kathleen), Kenneth (Cheryl), Harold (Linda); sister, Vada Freemont and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 5-8:00pm with Masonic services at 7:30pm on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd, Kettering. Funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Fairmont Presbyterian Church, 3705 Far Hills Ave, Kettering. Interment at David's cemetery. In memory of French, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton or Fairmont Presbyterian Church.
