Gary M. Fridenmaker

FRIDENMAKER, Gary M., age 82, of Centerville, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, November 16th surrounded by family and friends. Gary was born on April 8, 1939 in Wellston, OH, to the late Willard and Cornelia (Hougland) Fridenmaker. Throughout his life, he worked passionately in the real estate industry; his career included 33 years at The Mead Corporation doing everything from site selection to project management, and serving as Executive VP and COO at Bunnell Hill for 4 years before retiring. An active member of Centerville Community Church, Gary sang in the choir for many years where he enjoyed leading fellow believers in worship through song. Whenever Gary was not singing or spending time with his family, he could be found on the golf course enjoying the outdoors.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Sally, brother Everett, sister Judy, sons Mike and Mark (Ingrid), and four grandchildren: William, Megan, Emma, and Liza.

The family would like to acknowledge the staff at both Southview and Kettering Hospitals for the compassionate and professional care that they provided Gary. A visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Sunday, November 21, 2021 at Centerville Community Church, 10688 Dayton Lebanon Pike, Dayton, OH 45458. A service will be held the following day at 10am, also at the church. Burial at David’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Gary’s name to Centerville Community Church or to The Salvation Army, 1000 N. Keowee St., Dayton, OH 45404.
