Genevieve Laverne Clark

CLARK, Genevieve L., age 86, of Hudson, FL, formerly of Kettering and Buckhannon, WV passed away Thursday, May 13, 2004 in New Port Richey, FL. Genevieve was a member of the Cherry Hill Baptist Church. She retired from the Kettering City Schools. Genevieve is preceded in death by her husband, Murl “Pete” Clark; parents, John E. and Merle Marple; brother, Charles Marple; sisters, Eumatella Marple, Gwendolyn Lucia and Imogene Sloboda and grandson, Nicholas Sotiropoulos. She is survived by 3 daughters, Patricia (John) Sotiropoulos of Kettering, Carolyn Fathergill of Centerville and Melinda (Michael) Vowell of Apex, NC; 2 sons, William (Betty) of Beckley, WV and James (Virginia) of Hudson, FL; 14 grandchildren, Terry Stover, Rebecca Hite, Debbie Paris, Billie Enciu, Janet Binari, James Clark, Pattie Scott, Tom and Chris Sotiropoulos, Julia Weikert, Michael, Tony and Ashley Fathergill and Evan Vowell; 18 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Evelyn Miles of Dayton and Helen Post of Buckhannon, WV, sister-in-law Izola Marple also of Buckhannon, WV; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 17 at 11:00 AM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Rev. Dale McCloud officiating. Burial in Valley View Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday from 3 to 5:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hernando-Pasco Hospice, 6801 Rowan Rd., New Port Richey, FL 34653.
