George H Zavakos

ZAVAKOS, George H., age 57, of Centerville, died Saturday, July 5, 2008. He was formerly part of the sales team at Walker Brothers Motors and a long-time member of AA. George was preceded in death by his parents, Harry G. and Rosilyn Zavakos. He is survived by his son, George Nicholas Zavakos and daughter Dena Ann Madeline Zavakos; sisters, Connie, Candie and Renea Zavakos, Francine Z. (Tom) Gibbons and Nicki Thornhill; nephews, Jeff Thornhill and Derek Brumbaugh; and great-niece, Aubre Thornhill. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 500 Belmonte Park North, with Father Mark Emroll Officiating. Burial in Woodland cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 from 5-8:00 PM with Trisagion Prayers at 7:00 PM at Routsong Funeral Home 2100 E. Stroop Rd. Kettering. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to AA 120 West 2nd St. Dayton, OH 45402 or the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church Memorial Fund, 500 Belmonte Park North, Dayton, OH 45405.
