George Miller, Jr.

MILLER, George, Jr., age 79, of Dayton passed away on Monday, October 29, 2007 at the Sanctuary at Wilmington Place. George was a 1947 graduate of Wilbur Wright High School. He was the owner of George Miller Construction for almost 50 years. George was preceded in death by his sister, Marcelli Karjala and his parents, George and Clara Miller. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Mary Lou, his children; Glenn R. (Jeanne) Miller and Cindy (Paul) Johnson, grandchildren; Amy (Mike) Leraas, Mike Johnson and Jennifer (Scott) Simon, great-grandchildren; Megan, Kelly, Matt and Cole, brothers; J.D. (Pat) Miller, Richard (Pat) Miller, Harold (Linda) Miller and many nieces and nephews. George’s family will receive friends from 10-12noon on Friday at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E Stroop Rd., Kettering with a funeral service following at 12noon. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
