ECHCAROFF, George, age 74, of Xenia, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 13, 2004. He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School. George retired from the U.S. Post Office. He was a veteran of the US Army during WWII. Preceded in death by his first wife, Rose, of 45 years; parents, Tashe and Gena Echcaroff; sister, Eleanor Clingman and brother, John Lousoff. Survived by his wife, Jan, of 5 years; two daughters, Vickie (David) Gentry and Diana McDonald; grandson, Nicholas Echcaroff and a host of other special family members and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with Rev. Brooks Heck officiating. Burial in David’s Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6-8:00 PM, Wednesday at the funeral home. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the nursing staff in the Neuroscience Unit at Miami Valley Hospital. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, 40 S. Perry St. 120 Dayton, OH 45402-1429.
