Kettering

SANBORN, Georgia, age 78, of Kettering, passed away Sunday, October 27, 2024.

Georgia was born May 21, 1946, in Bangor, Maine. She had an eye for detail and was selected by the FBI to work for them as a stenographer. Georgia chose a different path, devoting her life to raising her three children, and then helping to raise several grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Georgia is preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Begin, and grandson, Steven Jenkins II. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Tracey (Joe Pietrocarlo) Frey, Kelly (Steve) Jenkins, Philip (Tracy) Smith, Jr., and adopted daughter, Sandy Cardwell; grandchildren, Tiffany, Michelle, Angela, Keith, Jon, Ian, Kori, and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Austin, Hailey, Peyton, Haylie, Alivia, Bennett, Kiya, Hunter, and Everlee; sisters, Sherrilee Lowe, Rebecca Woodbury, and Kim Jones; and ex-husband and life-long friend, Chris Sanborn.
