Geraldine Boyden Sisson

SISSON, Geraldine B. (Bailey), age 84, of Oakwood, passed awa Wednesday, December 20, 2000. She attended BelleFourche High School in South Dakota and received her B.S. from McCallester College. Geraldine was a member of College Women's Club, Progressive Mother's Club, Women of Fairmont, Wally Byam Caravan Club Int'l. and Fairmont Presbyterian Church. She found pleasure in knitting and contributed many, many sweaters to the Little Exchange. Geraldine also enjoyed needlework, gardening, antiques and trailer travel. Survived by her husband of 63 years, kenneth O. Sisson; 2 sons, Leslie and his wife, Peggy Sisson of Centerville and John and his wife, Debra Sisson of S.C.; a daughter, Carol and her husband, Jim Mantey of IL; grandchildren, Jeff Sisson and his wife, Courtney Ford of VA, Maribeth and her husband, Joe Downs of KY, Charley and his wife, Claire Sisson of France and Jamie mantey of IL; great grandchildren, Adam and Bridget Downs of KY; and a sister-in-law, martha Bailey of WY. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday in the Routsong Funeral Home, 6 Oakwood Ave. at Iriving, Oakwood, with Dr. Robert H. Wade and Rev. David Bickett officiating. Visitation will be held from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Saturday, in the funeral home. Burial will be in David's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to Fairmont Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or the charity of your choice.
