age 84, of Kettering, passed away Saturday, February 2, 2002. She was the co-owner of Doebler's Bakery from 1962-1983. She had been a resident of Kettering for 53 years. Preceded in death in 1985 by her husband of 46 years, Robert Doebler; 2 brothers, Robert and Ralph Hupp; and 2 sisters, Evelyn Lieurance and Frances Lewis. Survived by her 4 sons, Robert C. and his wife, Patricia Doebler of Riverside, Ronald W. and his wife, Nobuko Doebler of Anchorage, Alaska, Jack D. Doebler and his wife, Mary, and Tim Doebler, both of the state of Washington; 4 daughters, Kathleen and her husband, Earl Sowders of Manchester, OH, Rosemary Fisher of Dayton, Darlene and her husband, Doug Bartman of Centerville, OH and Holly and her husband, Mark Wabler of Centerville, OH; 21 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 2 brothers, Maurice and Doral Hupp; sister, Geneal Dunkin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Geraldine will be sadly missed by her family and fondly remembered by her patrons of Doebler's Bakery. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM, Thursday, in Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, with Pastor William Bliese officiating. The family will greet friends from 5:00 - 8:00 PM, Wednesday, in the funeral home. Burial in Valley View Memorial Gardens, Xenia. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
