Gladys K. Ewing

EWING, Gladys K. "Glady", age 97, of Oakwood, OH, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016. Glady was born to the late Franklin and Ethel (Coons) Klesath on October 19, 1918, in Dana, IL. She graduated from Eureka College in 1940 and was a member of Oakwood United Methodist Church. Glady is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald W. Ewing; sister, Helen; brother, Harold; and her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. She is survived by sons, Kent (Ann) Ewing of VA, Jon (Carol) Ewing of FL, Don (Jan) Ewing of CA and Scott Ewing of OH; daughters, Minamaree (Jim) Tudor of OR and Sue (Michael Elliott) Ewing of OR; twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and sister-in-law, Annette Kreider of NC. A memorial service will be held at Routsong Funeral Home on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 2:00pm. Family will greet friends following the service until 4:30pm at the funeral home. Glady's final resting place will be at Woodland Cemetery. In memory of Glady donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420 or charity of choice.
