Gladys P. Emerick

EMERICK, Gladys P. "Memaw", age 90 of Centerville passed away Friday, January 30, 2009. Her greatest joys were sewing, gardening, crafts, and baking pies. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Edmund Emerick, Sr.; son, Paul Emerick; sisters: Myrtle Simmons, Vera Rader, Millie Rapa; brothers: Clyde, Don, and Floyd Wallace. She is survived by her children: Edmund Emerick, Jr., Connie Smith, Joyce Howe, David Emerick; sister, Nettie Taylor; brother, Robert Wallace; 14 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 11:00AM on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Gladys may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, Miami Valley Chapter, c/o The Laurelwood, 3797 Summit Glen Dr., Suite 100, Dayton, OH, 45449.
