Grace May Roberts

ROBERTS, Grace May (Bagley), of Centerville, Ohio, passed away early in the evening on Thursday, October 29, 2015. Grace, the daughter of John and Elizabeth Bagley, was born into a large family in Alliance, Ohio, on February 14, 1923, and lived her early life in eastern Ohio and western Pennsylvania. In 1946 she married the love of her life, William D. (Bill) Roberts, an aspiring physician. Grace and Bill were happily married for 36 years until Bill's untimely death in 1982, and raised a family of three sons. Grace is survived by her brother Richard Bagley, of Centerville, Ohio, her three sons, Donald Roberts, of Centerville, Ohio, David (and Shelley) Roberts of Bozeman, Montana, and Douglas (and Christine) Roberts of Yellow Springs, Ohio, and her two grandchildren from David and Shelley, Graham William Roberts and Savannah Rose Roberts of Bellingham, Washington. Grace, known to friends and family as "Amazing Grace," lived her life with zest, honor, and pride. She was a loving and dedicated spouse, a beloved and inspiring mother, a gracious friend, and a source of strength and solace for all who knew her.
