TAYLOR Jr., Granville L., age 77 (“T” or Granny) passed away on May 13, 2006 at 9:00 AM at home after a lengthy illness. Survived by his beloved wife and friend of 55 years, Jacqueline “Jackie.” Also survived by Joseph “Don” and Marion Stich, Nancy F. Huffner, Doris Schafer, Paul Moore and Aunt Myrtle; 14 nieces and nephews, a host of family, friends, and best friend, Dan Wilken. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bertha and Granville L. Taylor and brother, Bill Taylor. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of the Kettering American Legion Post 598. He was an avid gardener who generously shared his fruits of labor. His kindness, love and humor will be missed by all who knew and loved him. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30AM on Tuesday, May 16 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 6245 Wilmington Pike, Dayton. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6-8:00PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville. There will be a private burial at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery in St. Bernard, OH. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Francis of Assisi Building Fund, 6245 Wilmington Pike, Dayton, OH 45459 or the Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
