age 81, of Dayton, passed away Friday, September 10, 2004, at Lincoln Park Manor of Kettering after an extended illness. Greg was born in Zanesville, OH, on August 8, 1923. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gus G. Speros and Hilda M. Wellman and brother, George G. Speros. He is survived by two sons, Gregory and Markham, and a daughter, Pamela Irving and three grandchildren, Crystal Rose Speros, Brett and Clint Irving; four brothers, Chris, Bill, Marshall and Tom and a sister, Catherine Gates; nieces and nephews, Gemma, Christina, Laura, Michael Manoloff, Roz St. Pierre, Sue, Gus, Stephanie, Valerie McKee, David, Amy, Andrea Davis, Lynne Diedrich, and Tommy; numerous great nieces and nephews and cousins, Catherine Tavlarides, Greg A. Speros, and Helen Costopoulos of California, Bellbrook, and Wyoming, respectively. Greg served in the US Air Force and was a restaurant proprietor in Springfield, OH and later self-employed both in Springfield and Dayton. Family will receive friends at 10:30 AM with a memorial service following at 11:00 AM, Tuesday at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville, OH, with Rev. Brooks Heck officiating. Private Interment at Ferncliff Cemetery, Springfield, OH. A very heart-felt thank you to the compassionate and capable staff at Lincoln Park Manor.
