Gregory Lynn Beckett

Gregory Lynn Beckett, 61, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2024, after a long-fought battle with pancreatic cancer. As a lifelong Daytonian, he touched many lives along the way, always looking to put others at ease with his raucous laugh and kind heart. While his career was spent as a craftsman and salesman, he would most want to tell you stories of family and fishing (some of which are true!). 

Greg is survived by his devoted wife, Dawn, beloved son and daughter-in-law, Rob & Concetta (DeFusco), mother, Cassie Wagner, and sister and brother, Cyndi and Davie Beckett. He will be truly missed as a faithful cat parent, a fellow movie buff, and a friend to all those he encountered.

 Dear family and friends, please help us honor and celebrate the incredible life of Greg Beckett. He always brought joy and contagious laughter wherever he went. We hope you can join us for a short service at 5pm and a few hours of sharing funny stories, a favorite memory and of course, food and beverages. We will gather on July 20th at the Falcon Club, 229 Clover St, Dayton, OH 45410 at 5:00 p.m. As Greg would have wanted it, the dress will be casual.
