KLEES-IBAUGH, Halla C., (nee Hickerson) age 88, of Centerville passed away Thursday, April 1, 2004 at Bethany Lutheran Village. Halla was a 1932 graduate of Steele High School. She and her husband, Paul founded the Carillon Cafeteria and ran it for many years before their children took over. As a family, they operated the Carillon for over 50 years. Halla was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Klees and second husband, Pete Ibaugh. She is survived by her son, Kenneth (Pat) Klees; daughter, Betty J. (Paul) Moore; 6 grandchildren, Michael (Cynthia) and Chris Mills, Tom and Todd Cook, Kathy (Chris) Clarendon and Douglas (Krista) Klees; 6 great grandchildren, Trevor and Lee Mills, Amanda and Rand Mills, Matthew and Emmett Clarendon; sister, Mary Siedenberg; brother, George (Edna) Hickerson and numerous other relatives and friends. Halla was a warm and wonderful mother who will be sadly missed. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 3 at 3:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. Entombment in Woodland Mausoleum at the convenience of the family. Family will receive friends Saturday one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
