Harley John Homan

HOMAN, Harley John age 77 of Lebanon, formerally of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. Harley graduated from Fairview High School in 1956 and from Miami-Jacobs Business College in 1957. He attended the University of Dayton for two years majoring in music. Harley worked for the Sherwin-Williams paint company after 28 years of service. After the Sherman-Williams fire in 1987 he retired at 49 years of age. Harley also taught piano at the Miami Valley Conservatory of Music. A funeral service will be held at 9:30am on Monday, June 1, 2015 at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 155 E. Thruston Blvd., Dayton with Pastor Gary Eichorn officiating. A visitation will be held a half hour prior (9:00am-9:30am) at the church. Burial in Bear Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 155 E. Thruston Blvd., Dayton, OH 45419.
