Harold Osborne Brown, Jr.

BROWN, Harold Osborne, Jr., age 71, of Kettering, passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2022. He is survived by his sister Ann (Bob); wife, Ronda; son, John (Mindy); daughter Debbie (Rob); daughter-in-law Laurie (Jim); grandchildren, Jacob, Erin, Sam, Zane, and Xander. 

Harry grew up in Dayton where he graduated from Belmont High School in 1970. He proudly served his country as a Marine, and then served as a Police Officer, Paramedic, Fire Fighter, Detective, and Coroner’s Investigator for a total of 36-years of law enforcement service. He was a proud member of the Fraternal Order of Police, the American Legion, and AmVets. He lived in Kettering where he enjoyed fishing, and woodworking. He loved spending time with his grandkids more than anything else. Harry was a great storyteller, and entertained everyone who knew him with his stories. Our family is grateful to know that he is finally at peace. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Hospice of Dayton.
