Harold Otto Richter

RICHTER, Harold Otto, age 96 of Centerville, passed away on Monday, August 3, 2009 at St. Leonard's. Harold was born December 2, 1912 to Otto and Helen (Jergens) Richter. He retired from NCR after 42 years in 1975. His treasured time was with his family, fishing and in his yard. He was a member of Centerville United Methodist Church, Oakwood Fir, Fin & Feather Club and the Rod & Reel Club. Harold is survived by his wife of 58 years, Hildreth "Hiddy" Richter; daughter Linda K. Holley; son Douglas E. Richter; grandchildren Robert Lanting, Douglas Richter, Brent Holley, Daniel Richter and Aaron Richter; and great-grandchildren Samantha & Rebecca Lanting and Savannah Holley. He is also survived by sister-in-law Opal Flynn and cousins Susan (Jim) Baumann and Helen Kronenberger. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 6, 2009 at 1:00PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville, OH with Rev. Greg Crabtree officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00AM – 1:00PM prior to the funeral. Burial in Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
