MUNDY, Harry G., age 88, of Bellbrook, OH passed away Saturday, July 9, 2005. Born January 22, 1917 to Elsie and Harry Mundy in London, England. Preceded in death by his first wife of 60 years, Ernestine and two infant daughters. He is survived by his wife, Sheila; son, Eric Mundy and daughter-in-law, Susan and daughter, Gayle Almanrode. He is also survived by four loving grandchildren; Beka, Rachael, George and Fiona. Harry graduated from Van Wert High School and Ohio University. He served in the USAAF, 8th AF, 94th Bombardment Group and piloted 35 combat missions in a B-17. He was a past president of Kettering Optimist and active in the VFW and American Legion, and a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 14, at Westminster Presbyterian Church, 125 N. Wilkinson St., Dayton, OH at 2:30 PM. A reception will immediately follow the service at church. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Heifer Project International, PO Box 8058, Little Rock, AR 72203.
