Harry was born June 29, 1934, to the late Philip and Grace (nee Williard) Keifer. He attended Fairmont High School, graduating in 1952. Harry played football, basketball, and baseball, leading to his induction in the Fairmont Athletic Hall of Fame. After high school, Harry completed a four-year tool and die apprenticeship, and then proudly served in the U.S. Army for four years. He instilled his love for athletics into his children, coaching their various sports teams. Harry was a devoted family man who loved nothing more than to surround himself with those he loved, helping wherever he could. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
