Harry Maloy Ray

RAY, Harry Maloy, age 62 or Miami Twp., passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2009 in Kettering after a brief illness. Born October 7, 1947 in McRae, GA to the late H.F. Ray and Dorothy Maloy Ray of Jacksonville, GA. Harry served his country in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and retired as a Major from the Army National Guard after 20 years of service. He worked at Wright-Patterson AFB in Fairborn, OH where he retired after 39 years of civil service as logistics Mgr. Harry is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Donna Sheffield Ray of Miami Twp.; daughter, Heather Leigh Ray of Huber Heights; son, John Harrington Ray of Miami Twp.; brother, Frank (Pat) Ray of Jacksonville, GA; sister, Robyn (Gary) Vickers of Douglas, GA; uncle, Bill (Nancy) Clark of Perry, GA; and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. A funeral service was held at Jacksonville Methodist Church in Jacksonville, GA with burial in Jacksonville Cemetery.
