Hazel Edith Fehlmann

FEHLMANN, Hazel Edith, age 88, of Herndon, VA., formerly of Oakwood, passed away April 12, 2012. Born in Ashland, OH., Hazel got her B.A. from Ashland College and her M.B.A. from Miami University. She taught for many years in the Covington and Centerville city schools and was a member of Herndon United Methodist Church and South Park United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her husband of 55 years Alfred B. Fehlmann in 2003; granddaughter Cinnamin in 1987; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Mike and Louise Robinson of Xenia and Wilmington, OH; and grand nephew Alan Marshall. Hazel is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Alice K. and Larry Hoffman of Herndon, VA.; granddaughters Cierra, Cibrina and Civanna Hoffman; niece Mary Louise Robinson-Marshall and her family of Wilmington, OH; nephew David L. Robinson and his family of Cave Creek, AZ. Family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00pm on Friday, April 20, 2012 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 East Stroop Rd., Kettering. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the funeral home with a one hour visitation prior. Burial in Miami Valley Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be given to Heritage Hall, The Groves Unit, 122 Morven Park Rd. NW, Leesburg, VA 20176 or to the American Cancer Society, 124 Park St SE # 100, Vienna, VA 22180.
