Hazel R Whistler

WHISTLER, Hazel R., age 86, of Miami Twp., passed away Saturday, July 4, 2009 at Sycamore Hospital. She was a 1940 graduate of Fairview High School. Hazel is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and May Rettig. She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Charles C. Whistler, Jr.; children, Charles Whistler, III and wife Barbara of Grosse Pointe, Michigan, and Alice Holmes of Goldsby, Oklahoma; grandchildren, Charles Whistler, IV, Carolyn Whistler, Laurie Whistler, Matthew Holmes and wife Jennifer, and Clayton Holmes; great-granddaughter, Lauren Holmes; and great grandson, Mason Holmes (expected birth August 2009); sister, Eloise Abbott of Eugene, Oregon and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held, Wednesday, July 8, 2009 at 1:30 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville, with Rev. David Brown officiating. Family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 PM at the funeral home. Burial in David�s Cemetery.
