HARTMAN, Helen M., age 90, of Centerville, OH, formerly of Baxter Springs, KS passed away Friday, May 27, 2005. Helen graduated from Pittsburg State University. She was a School Teacher in Kansas City, MO and Coffeyville, KS where she taught for 27 years. Helen was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Baxter Springs, KS, Phi Mu Gamma and Delta Kappa Gamma. Preceded in death by her husband in 1970, Harold Hartman; 3 brothers, Earl, Arthur James and Samuel W. Douthit. Survived by 2 sons, Bruce (Betty) Hartman, of McKinney, TX and Allan (Donna) Hartman and her grandchildren, Michelle and Michael Hartman, all of Centerville, OH; 3 sisters-in-law, Dorothy Douthit of Overland Park, KS, Margarette Douthit of Lee Summit, Missouri and Dorothy Douthit of Baxter Springs, KS; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held at 10:30 AM, Friday, June 3rd at Baxter Springs Cemetery, Baxter Springs, KS, with Rev. Frank McGahe officiating.
