YOUNG, Helen Josephine King age 99, died Tuesday, July 3, 2007at Bethany Lutheran Village, Centerville where she resided for thirty four years. Born October 28, 1907 in Englewood, OH, Helen was a graduate of Randolph High School and Miami Valley Hospital School of Nursing, Class of 1929. A member of First Lutheran Church, active in Women’s Council of Lutheran Social Services, a B.L.V. volunteer, and a Rotary Paul Harris Fellow. Survived by two sons, William (Virginia) King of Petoskey, MI and George (Virginia) King of Oakwood; plus five grand-children, Katherine, Harbor Springs, MI; Stephen, Petoskey, MI; Julia, Brutus, MI; Andrew, Taylor Mills, KY; and Kirstin, Dublin, OH. Helen was preceded in death by husbands, Charles E. King and F. James Young; and one brother, Warren Ullery. Services will be held Friday, July 6, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville with Pastor Erma Murray officiating. Burial at Dayton Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Living Flower Fund at Bethany Lutheran Village, 630 Inner Mission Way, Centerville, OH 45459 or Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Ave., Dayton, OH 45420.
