Helen Margaret Durrenberg

DURRENBERG, Helen Margaret, age 92, of Kettering, passed away Monday, May 9, 2011. Helen was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, where she volunteered for VBS programs and was a member of the Ladies Aid Society at Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Detroit, Michigan. She enjoyed playing cards, tending her flowers and gardening and sewing. Preceded in death by her parents Conrad and Katherine Hetzner; husband Carl H. Durrenberg; and daughter Marjorie Durrenberg. Helen is survived by her son Carl E. (Louise) Durrenberg; brothers Harold (Rose) Hetzner and Eldor (Margaret) Hetzner; grandchildren Richard (Janet) Durrenberg, Cheryl Qualters, Susan (Raymond) Fosnot, Michael (Debbie) Durrenberg, Jon (Cathy) Durrenberg, Andrea (Paul) Egan; 14 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; and many loving nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Friday, May 13, 2011 from 9:00-10:30AM at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1240 S. Maple Ave., Fairborn. Funeral services will begin at 10:30am at the church.
