Helen Marie Maday

MADAY, Helen Marie, age 82, of Kettering passed away peacefully Saturday, October 22, 2005. Helen was an active member of the Church of the Ascension and a member of the Leisure Club. Helen retired from Top Value Enterprises. She volunteered in a number of activities, including Reach to Recovery. She was a breast cancer survivor of 42 years. Helen is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Chester Maday; children, Daniel (Janet), Robert (Jodi), Suzanne, Paulette (Jeff) Groshens, and Richard ( Marsha); grandchildren, Joe, Rob, Patrick, Jennifer, Mindy, Jeffrey, Jonathan, Richard, Betsy, Karen, Kristine, Laura and Kaitlin; sister, Ann Genereux; brothers, Roman, Robert and Clarence Yanish and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be held Friday, October 28, 2005 at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Ascension. Family will receive friends, Thursday from 5-7:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering. In memory of Helen, contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 8899 Brookside Ave., Ste. 102, West Chester, OH 45069.
