Helen Rebecca Kerchner

KERCHNER, Helen R., age 89, of Kettering passed away Thursday, January 18, 2007 at Hospice of Dayton after a short illness. She was a life long resident of Dayton and a longtime member of Hope United Methodist Church. Helen was a graduate of Stivers High School. She worked in the Trust Department of Winters Bank until her retirement. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse W. and Gertrude Kerchner, brother, Louis F. Kerchner and sister-in-law, Erma M. Kerchner. Helen is survived by her niece, Karen (Frederick) Baillie of Haymarket, VA; cousin, Ray (Anna Marilyn) Miller; and other family members, Andrea Diemunsch, Kathleen Broderick, Marta Russell, Malia (Wayne) Diemunsch, Charlene (Michael) Holloran, Rita (nee Diemunsch) (Leroy) Nieport and their families and special friend, Vicki Whipp. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 22, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Hope United Methodist Church, 5980 Wilmington Pike with Reverend Dr. Tom Brown and Pastor Tori Smith officiating. Burial in Woodland Cemetery. Family will receive friends Monday from 10-11:00 AM at the church.
