age 78, of Dayton, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2001. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in the European, African and Middle East theaters where he received 3 bronze stars. Herbert retired from Coca Cola in 1986 after 38 years of service. Preceded in death by his devoted wife of 48 years, Janet; son, John Kirves; and brother, Howard Kirves. Survived by his daughter, Mary and her husband, Dan Stinson; son, Paul F. Kirves; 3 sisters, Hazel and her husband, Don Barrett, Helen Seibert, Harriet and her husband, Irvin Benson; 4 grandsons, J. Wade Stinson, Brian and his wife, Jaimie Stinson, Tighe Stinson and David Kirves; 1 great granddaughter, Elisabeth Stinson; and 2 step-great grandchildren, Brandon and Destanee Lowe. Funeral services will be at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, in Routsong Funeral Home, 6 Oakwood Ave. at Irving, Oakwood, with Pastor Mark McVey officiating. Visitation from 5:00 - 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, in the funeral home. Burial in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton, P.O.
