Herbert P Aikin

AIKIN, Herbert P., age 72, of Kettering, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2004 in Kettering. Herbert was the former owner of the Village Square Barber Shop for over 15 years, retiring in 1977. He served in the United States Army in Korea where he was a prisoner of war. Herbert was a member of the Elks, and the American Legion Kettering Post # 598. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Dana Aikin and two brothers. Herbert is survived by his 3 sons, Tim Aikin of Kettering, Dan Aikin and Tom Aikin, both of Lake Park, FL; 2 brothers, John Aikin and Max Aikin, both of Sidney, OH; and 2 grandchildren, Holly and Storm Aikin. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, February 18, 2004 at 10:00 AM at the Dayton National Cemetery, Dayton. Arrangements by Routsong Funeral Home.
