Herbert W. Bates

BATES, Herbert W., age 92, of Centerville, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018. He was born on February 15, 1926 in Bismark, ND and was a resident of the Dayton area since 1967. He is survived by his loving family; son, Howard (Jerilyn) Bates of Carmel, IN; daughter, Nancy (Steve) Beecroft of Centerville, OH; grandchildren, Nicholas Kopp, Stephani Knisley, Mandi Moning, Justin Bates, Kristin Coons, Lorin Baksa and 8 great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Harold Shehan of Winston Salem, NC and numerous nieces and nephews. A private family memorial service was held at Davids Mausoleum.
