Howard Alf Talbott

TALBOTT, Howard Alf, 94, of Kettering, passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021. He was born in Crooksville, OH on December 25, 1926 to the late Howard and Nellie (McFarland) Talbot. Howard graduated from OSU in 1949 and worked for General Motors and then DESC. He was an avid sports fan and was an Ohio State football team season ticket holder for over 60 years. Howard was a WWII veteran who loved studying genealogy, attending TOM’s Club meetings and eating Bill’s Donuts. Howard was preceded in death by his brothers, Jack, Lyle, and Doug. He was an active father and grandfather who will be dearly missed by his loving wife of 67 years, Rebecca; children, Karen (Scott) Murphy, Mark (Gina) Talbott; grandchildren, Sarah, Daniel (Charity), and Peter Murphy, Tyler (Kaitlyn) Talbott, and Austin Talbott; great-grandson, Luke Talbott.

Family will greet friends 11AM-1PM on Saturday, November 20 at ROUTSONG FUNERAL HOME, 2100 E STROOP RD, KETTERING. Funeral services will begin at 1PM at the funeral home with Pastor Dave Kisner officiating.
