Howard C Hummel

HUMMEL, Howard age 69, died May 20, 2005 after a long, courageous, battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife, Barbara (Geiger); in-laws Jeanne and Frank Fecke; Bill and Jean Geiger; Connie Geiger; Joyce and Dick Roberts; brother Jerry and Meta Hummel; many beloved nieces and nephews; special friends Irene Worthington and from Portland, OR, Al and Jean Quattrocchi. Early he was a residential builder and later a Real Estate Appraiser. A woodworker, he made furniture, dulcimers, beautiful baskets, was a gardener and artist but his favorite thing was golfing with his friends in the Seniors at Elks Course in Wilmington. He was modest of his talents, fun to be with, funny, humorous, kind, optimistic, compassionate; he was a gentle man. Family will receive friends Saturday, May 28, 2005 from 1-4:00 PM at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville.
