Howard S. Jr. Fleck

FLECK, Howard S., Jr., age 86, of Dayton, passed away, Monday, May 12, 2003. He was the owner of Howard S. Fleck Co. Howard was a 50 year member of the Dayton Valley of Scottish Rite. He was the former director of the Arabic Club, past president of Dayton Optimist Club and past Lt. Governor of the Optimist Clubs of Ohio. Howard was also a member of the Royal Jesters, Brookville Shrine, Dayton Amateur Baseball Commission and Miami Valley Golf Club. Preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne in 1999. Survived by 1 sister, Bette Fleck of Dayton; 1 step-son, Jack and his wife, Donna Wirtz of Dayton; 1 grandson, Jay and his wife, Betty Jo Wirtz of Dayton; 1 great-grandson, Tony Wirtz; 1 nephew, Douglas Sollenberger of Dayton; 3 cousins, Joseph and Flora Szakal, James and Jody Johnson and Patty Margerum. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, May 16, 2003 at the Woodland Mausoleum, 118 Woodland Ave. with Rev. Edward Puff officiating. Entombment in Woodland Mausoleum. Family will greet friends from 10-11:00 AM, Friday at the mausoleum. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to, Shriners Hospitals, 1900 Richmond Rd.
