I. Joy Staup

STAUP, I. Joy, age 89 of Centerville, passed away on Saturday, October 30, 2010. Joy graduated from Steele High School in 1939. She was a long time member of Hope United Methodist Church, Centerville Women's Association, the Dayton Women's Club, and the United Methodist Women's Club. Joy enjoyed her bible study group, gardening and playing Bridge. She loved her family and friends deeply and was always concerned about their well being. Joy worked around the Dayton area all her life including Sterling Rubber, Roland Originals, WHIO TV, Mad River School system and Parks and Recreation for the City of Kettering. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, James and Agnes Teague, and her sister Helen deLuna. Joy is survived by her daughters, Lee McCormick of Centerville and Leslie (Howard) Sachs of California; grandchildren, Tracey (Kris) Maloney-Nelson, Chris Maloney and James Robert McCormick; great-grandson Donovan McCormick and good friends, Jean & Don Hamrock. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at 1:00PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville, OH. The family will greet friends from 11:00AM1:00PM prior to the funeral.
