Inez May Muntz

MUNTZ, Inez M., (nee Cramton), age 92, of Kettering, passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Hospice of Dayton. Inez was born on January 22, 1916 near Lynchburg, Ohio to the late Harry and Dortha (Wilkin) Cramton. She worked at Frigidaire Division of General Motors for about 25 years and she worked briefly at Fairley Hardware Company in Lynchburg. She was a Sunday school teacher of primary age students and juniors and a pianist for over 40 years at Fairview Church of Christ, near Hillsboro. Inez was an active member of her community, participating in the following organizations: Member and Club Leader of 4-H Clubs, an advisor for Junior Achievement, Past Matron of Con-Ami Chapter #542--Eastern Star, having served as Worthy Matron in 1967, 1986 and 1994 with Chapter #125, Past President of the 19th District Officers Association in 1967, Past President of the 19th District Past Matron's Assoc., Past Treasurer, Secretary and President of Ohio Twelvettes of the Ohio Twelve Assoc., Past Treasurer of Dayton, O.E. S. Temple Board and Past President of Kettering and Suburban Senior Citizens (KSSC) in 1994 and 1996. Inez was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson F. Muntz in 1998. She is survived by sister, Helen Irene Clouser and brother, Earl Cramton both of Wilmington, nephew, Dana Clouser and 2 special great-nieces, Shelby and Phoebe Clouser, all of Kettering. Several other nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 3 at 2pm at the Fairview Church of Christ, Route 50 near Hillsboro with Rev. Bob Wickline officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Church. Burial in Barnes Cemetery, also in Fairview, Ohio. Inez's family will also receive friends on Tuesday, Sept. 2 from 5-7:00PM at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering with a brief prayer service at 7PM with Rev Kevin Hoffman officiating. Memorial contributions may be sent to Fairview Church of Christ, 4200 Rte. 50 West, Hillsboro, OH 45133.
