MARTIN, Jack L, age 83, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2003. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II. Jack had retired from NCR after 25 years of service. He was a member of the American Legion Post 675. Preceded in death by his brother, Robert Martin. Survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathryn (DeRamus) Martin; son, Ronald DeRamus and his wife, Carol, of Beavercreek; 2 granddaughters, Cathy DeRamus of Beavercreek and Linda DeRamus of San Francisco, CA; brother, Don Martin and his wife, Bev, of Tipp City; sister, Betty Gifford and her husband, Ed, of Dayton; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 E. Stroop Rd., Kettering, with Rev. Jim Gifford officiating. The family will greet friends in the funeral home one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Wright State University, Anatomical Gift Program, Dept. of Anatomy, 3640 Colonel Glenn Hwy., Dayton, OH 45431.
