KEMPER, Jack Lowell, age 79, loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Kettering Medical Center. A long time resident of Centerville, Jack was born to the late Ronald and Virginia Kemper on January 18, 1934 in Dayton, OH. He graduated from Wilber Wright High School in 1952 and maintained a close friendship with a group of classmates, as they met for lunch the last Monday of every month. Jack served his country in the U.S. Army and was the founding owner and President of Wat-Kem Mechanical Company, Inc. He was the past President of PHCC and a member of Far Hills Lodge F&AM, AASR Valley of Dayton and Southminster Presbyterian Church. Jack enjoyed woodworking, fishing with his grandchildren and golfing with his church and contractor friends. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 58 years, Marilyn; daughters, Kim (Tim) Glaze of Sugarcreek Twp, Pam (Glenn) Steade of Washington Twp, and Missy (Jim Roseberry) Kemper of Grove City, OH; grandchildren, Sam Boyer, Evan Steade and Hannah and Rachel Glaze. Family will greet friends from 9:00-11:00am on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Southminster Presbyterian Church, 7001 Far Hills Ave. Centerville, OH. Celebration of life services will be at 11:00am with Blue Lodge: AASR service. The family would like to send their deepest gratitude to Rev. Jackie Nowak and the Chaplain and staff at KMC ICU for all the care and support they gave to Jack. In Lieu of flowers, donation may be made to Southminster Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund or www.vasculitisfoundation.org (formerly Wegeners-Granulomatosis).
