WELCH, Jacob "Jack" Thomas, age 100, of Oakwood, OH, passed away November 25, 2015. He was born on October 3, 1915 in Kalamazoo, MI. On October 3, 2015 Jack welcomed over 60 family members and friends at the Dayton Country Club in celebration of his 100th birthday! Jack established Dynapoint Tool Corp in 1972 and also owned Kniess Saw Co and Hamant Tool Corp. His previous employments included Sheffield Corp, Dayton, OH, Bendix International, NYC, and Haughton Elevator, Toledo, OH. He graduated from Roosevelt HS and GMI and attended MIT. A lifelong Methodist, Jack supported the Normandy Methodist Church, the Masons and Shriners. He was a golfer and loved traveling. He is preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Laura Welch, sister Winona Kasch, and brother Donald Welch. Jack is survived by his wife Mary Navarro Welch, his children Donald (Maryann) Welch, Dorine (Joe) Smith and Douglas Welch; his grandchildren Mark (Jane) Welch, Marsha (Todd) Hawley, Dee Anna (Roman) Riedmueller-Smith, Kristen (Joe) Goldian and David (Debbie) Welch; his great-grandchildren Jackson Welch, Mason Welch, Morgan Hawley, Emma Hawley, Romy Smith, Peter Smith, Jack Goldian and Reid Goldian; and his extended Navarro family Richard, Mark, Herbert, Christopher and Eve Navarro and their families.
