GEORGE, Jacqueline (Jacki) Sue, age 54, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016 after a heroic fight with cancer in Dayton, Ohio surrounded by family. She is survived by her husband, Georges Kleinberg, and her two children, Katie and Peter. Predeceased by father (Germanus George), mother (Helen George), and brother (James George).
A lifelong resident of Dayton, she graduated from Beavercreek High School before attending and graduating from Wright State University School of Business. Jacki loved to learn and had the opportunity to be an exchange student at the masters of business program in Lyon, France through Wright State University.
Jacki worked at Fenwick High School and Avery Dennison. She enjoyed the outdoors and visiting art museums. Jacki was diagnosed with late stage ovarian cancer nearly three years ago and tried to bring awareness of this cancer to others. She has contributed to studies to help develop better treatment plans and hopefully a cure.
Jacki was a devoted mother, wife, and daughter. She focused her life on her family and enjoyed getting together with family and friends. Jacki also spent a lot of time volunteering in the community and schools over the years. She enjoyed a sense of humor and attending improv comedy shows downtown. She also often combined her passion of the outdoors and her hobby of photography by taking photos of family and friends in nature.
Visitation will be at Routsong Funeral Home in Kettering on Sunday, April 3 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Church of the Incarnation, 7415 Far Hills Ave., Centerville on Monday, April 4 at 10:30 a.m. Following, burial will be at Calvary Cemetery.
The family would like to thank all who contributed positively to Jacki's life and would like to thank the many people who continued to prayer for her during her long-term illness.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to "Noble Circle" at PO Box 750192 Dayton, OH 45475. Jacki participated in Noble Circle's weekend retreats, the 10-week educational sessions and activities throughout the year and ultimately gained a strong support network.
