THOMAS. James "Jim" Cecil, age 80, of Trotwood passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Shirley R. Thomas; parents; Riley and Donna Thomas; brothers and sister, Roy Thomas, Carroll Thomas, Clyde Thomas, and Maurine Bloomer. Jim is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Robbie (Alan) Herner of Dayton, OH; 3 grandchildren, Jimmy, Robin and Tommy; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Rachel Thomas of Brookville, Evelyn (Gene) Withers of Dayton, OH, Walter (Shirley) Scott and Mitchell (Margaret) Scott both of Cookeville, TN, Willie Hawkins of Kettering, OH and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, January 19, 2009 at the Routsong Funeral Home, 81 N. Main St., Centerville, OH with Rev. Sue Hamilton officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 1-3:00 PM prior to service time at the funeral home.
