James Craig Van Nest

VAN NEST, James C., age 69, of Dayton, passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2017. James was born on August 24, 1948 in Dayton to Lloyd and Hazel (Martin) Van Nest. He graduated from Belmont High School in 1966 and retired from the parts and sales division at Kenworth of Dayton in 2015. James was preceded in death by his wife Pam (Kidder) Van Nest, his parents, and his brother Gary. He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Hettinger; grandchildren, Kyra and Jake Hettinger; brother, Mark (Beverly) Van Nest; niece, Nikki Van Nest Funk; and nephews, Jason and Brian Van Nest. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, October 23, 2017 at Routsong Funeral Home, 2100 East Stroop Rd., Kettering. The family will greet friends for a visitation one hour before the service from 10:00am-11:00am at the funeral home. Burial in Davids Cemetery.
